Are you on a budget? Do you love DIY projects? Do your kids need something to keep them busy? Try folding paper to make beautiful decorations, ornaments, and gifts. Have you seen the amazing origami paper crane Christmas tree at Rockstar Diaries? One of my friends didn’t have a tree topper so they made one out of origami paper. It looked awesome! Just type in “origami wreaths” or “origami Christmas” on Pinterest and you will find beautiful projects like these (Next year, I want to make a wreath out of newsprint!):

For Valentine’s Day a few years ago, I made an origami heart garland (see it HERE).

Do you like to DIY for the holidays? Or would you rather buy everything from a store?

Great! Thanks! I love these ideas! I live make things with my 2-and-a-half-year and my 4-year-old daughters. But I often luck of ideas. ^_^;
You’re welcome, Gemma!
I love Origami crafts. This Christmas, I made Origami Christmas ornaments and 50 mini Santa Clauses for my kids’ classes. I used origami-club.com instructions. They turned out really cute. I also made origami Piano ornament for our piano teacher with the sheet music of his favorite carol. I saw the similar ornament today at the store, but I got to personalize my present, that’s what I liked about my DIY Christmas presents this year :)
That is wonderful, Kozue! I saw some of your origami pictures and they looked GREAT!
Just beautiful!
